The World of Birds is open 9h00 – 17h00, every day of the week, 365 days of the year

Feeding Times are :

• Penguins - 11:30 & 15:30
• Pelicans - 12:30
• Cormorants - 13:30
• Birds of Prey - 16:15

The Monkey Jungle is open from 11:30 - 13:00 and 14:00 - 15:30

We are located along Valley Road in Houtbay
There are signs posted along the Main Road in Hout Bay that will guide you to the park.

We are also on the Blue Route of the Hop on Hop Off City Bus Tour

Entrance fees are

• Adults R75
• Children R40
• Pensioners and Students (with card) R55

The Robin's Nest offers drinks and snacks as well as light meals.

You are also welcome to bring your own picnic basket and enjoy a picnic at the Flamingo Terrace (right next to our Flamingoes (number 5 on the map)).

Children’s pushcarts are available for hire at R20 each

Have a rest while the children have fun and play on playground

Most areas and restrooms are accessible to people in wheelchairs. Visitors in wheelchairs are also granted free entry to World of Birds!

Be sure to bring your camera! The up close and personal encounters with the animals allow for some incredible photo opportunities!

Print outs of the park map are also available at the entrance.

Our curio shop sells a wide variety of souvenirs and memento's of your visit to World of Birds.
